Notice: Repatriation Process – Submission of Documents for Human Remains

We wish to provide you with important information regarding the submission of essential documents required to authorize the repatriation process for human remains. Upon receipt of these documents, we will promptly expedite the issuance of the necessary authorization letter.

Kindly ensure that the following documents are provided by the Funeral Home:

=> Official Death Certificate
=> Burial Permit
=> Health Letter
=> Transit Permit
=> Embalming and Sealed Letter (to be placed in a hermetically sealed liner)
=> Preparation Report
=> Copy of the Eritrean Passport

In cases where the deceased does not possess any Eritrean documents, but we can verify their Eritrean heritage through other means, we are able to issue a Temporary ID along with a Laissez-Passer. These documents serve as a temporary identification and travel permit, allowing the repatriation process to proceed smoothly.
